As you may have heard, last Friday RSA announced that a security breach had resulted in the disclosure of information "specifically related to RSA's SecurID two-factor authentication products." RSA states that "this information could potentially be used to reduce the effectiveness of a current two-factor authentication implementation." While RSA has released little information about the extent of the breach, there’s a great article from Dell that provides an objective view of the potential impacts and recommended actions RSA SecurID customers can take today. If you’re currently using SecurID, I encourage you to read over the article at http://www.secureworks.com/research/threats/rsacompromise/ { click on link }
